i was out a lot during this festive season, so this is what happened the past 3 days.


Xmas' Eve.

I went out to do some UBER last minute xmas shopping. i went to tiong bahru plaza and plaza singapura. afterwards, i went home to my dad's apartment @ GWSA.

that night my dad wanted to watch a movie. a late night movie. we watched "Australia" @ 11.10pm. the movie was really long! halfway through the movie, iwas thinking, wow, that was nice, i thought it was ending already! then it went on!! the movie ended @ about 2 am. lol..




Xmas

for xmas all i got was an 8gb thumbdrive and a usb port..>.< LOL!!
my sis got a 32gb ipod touch! wtf!!!

for xmas dinner we reserved places @ a restaurant called One Rochester,
its at rochester park.

it started with a drink. Eggnog(sweetened dairy-based beverage with the addition of various liquors, such as brandy, rum, and whiskey.) or Rosé(AKA pink wine)
i picked Eggnog, but i also tasted the Rosé which my sister chose.

then i had to leave cause we forgot the crackers, lol.

once i got back, we started the course.
i ordered another drink, a cocktail, called "Cherry Blossom"a

the first course was a soup, Truffle white onion soup with pancetta bits

then we were served 2 ginormous bowls of salad

one was warm slad of duck confit with roasted kumquats & pumpkin seeds, the other was cured ham with peppered figs & rocket salad.

then came the Lamb!
Oven baked lamb rump (2.5 kg), caramelized parsnips mashed with rosemary & shallot jus.

then the point of the whole dinner!
Turkey!!!!
Roasted whole turkey (4-6 kg), roasted vegetables & red currants sauce,

wow! awesome dinner,. sooo full.. lol

but, there is still dessert! lol.

there were 3 different desserts.

rochester pudding with brandy sauce
chocolate fudge brownies with homemade vanilla bean ice-cream
cheese plate with fruit cake, water biscuit & onion chutney

total price of dinner without the extra drinks & wine was S$480++(without GST & service charge.. >.< faints)

my dad also ordered a bottle of wine, an Alpha Montes Chile White Wine.
i tried it, and omg was it strong! lol. the strongest wine i've ever tasted. it was 14% alcohol.

Boxing Day

Today i woke up at noon. lol. was too dizzy last night, so i slept in.. >.<

immediatly i left for alexandra roadwith my sister, to send her lappie for repair.
came back @ about 3 30pm. we ate leftover turkey for lunch.(we didnt finish the turkey yesterday, so we brought back the leftover)

later on, arthur wanted to watch a movie, he hadn't seen twilight. so he bought himself a ticket. he had time on his hands so i went shopping with him.
i was going to GWC anyway, to buy the BoA album, the Face.

he bought some shirts and i got myself yet another shirt.. hehe=PP

then it was time for his movie. i left for home. then my dad, my sis and i walked to lucky plaza cause Maria wanted to buy a phone, the Xperia(X1). blah blah.. then we walked back home.

and that's now.. hehe=PP
