Title : not everyone sulks at their parent's obliviousness

this is my reply to gen's latest post;you know the saying that i always live by"when life gives you lemons, make lemonade"i constantly tell you about that quote.its not about complain why your life is like that, its about what you do with it, and how you deal with it. when my mother does those things in your scenario. i tell myself that she is proud of me, but she just wants to keep my mind focused on education. she is after all my mother. even if she doesn't think those thoughts complaining won't do a thing.you pick yourselves up and do the right thing. improve yourselves, not for your parents' eyes because it does nothing to help their lives, but do it for yourselves, it does a lot to improve your lives.we live in the 20th century, things change you can't be so sentimental and expect love to be shown in that way. love is displayed in a different tone here at this age. it is displayed in the way that they push you into a better life. in the future, you will thank them when you live a great life, for if they were the type of parents you would want them to be, you would not be in the life you will grow into. you would be moving a step backwards and living with a mediocre payslip.
